		<description><![CDATA[Thanks Rodney! I think the key is to be quick on the &#039;breaking news&#039;. The earlier you create a video about a topic the higher the number of searches will be and the lower your competition will be. 

In fairness to Will Wertheim, he was on top of it sooner with some great text blogging and was also rewarded by Google for doing so. For whatever reason it seems like video gets indexed quicker and ranks higher. 

It will be interesting to watch the evolution of these videos ranking as Google positioning is pretty dynamic. I am curious to see if the videos have staying power to remain near the top longterm. 

And of course none of this wouldn&#039;t happened if it wasn&#039;t for people like Ian Watt starting his Vlog a few years back and being committed to it which exposed the power of it, along with the encouragement and training of Ubertor and Reachd.
